Welcome
The Rose Hill
Group comprises three congregations serving different communities
within the Chesterfield area.
- Rose
Hill URC is the oldest church in the Group and
occupies an imposing site in the Chesterfield town centre adjacent
to civic buildings, shops and the large open-air market.
- Carr
Vale URC is some seven miles from Chesterfield.
It is a village, almost a suburb of Bolsover. The small but
devoted congregation, have recently become part of the Rose
Hill Church as they currently lack the capacity to undertake
the functions of the church unaided.
- Calow
URC, founded in 1837, is almost half way between
Chesterfield and Carr Vale in the village of Calow on the road
between Chesterfield and Bolsover.
